THE CHRISTIAN BOARD
Churches taking care of churches
Your fellow board members will help you to not only solve your current problems, but more importantly, help you envision future opportunities.
TCB is not just about fixing what is wrong, it is also very much about creating new and exciting plans.
The meetings give you a critical break from the day-to-day pressures of running your chruch.
This time will help you to take a more objective view of your own situation as you will be hearing honest input from others who have no emotional or vested interest in your church.
Your TCB facilitator, with your board peers, will assist you on a new journey to:
• Find the root source of your issue
• Receive candid, unbiased feedback
• Set fresh points of view and new
perspectives
• Define your goals and create a
strategy
• Provide actions to do the hard but
necessary things
• Create a network of trusted advisors
who know exactly what you deal with,
day in and day out.
As a pastor, we tend to all share in two critical mistakes: spending too much time working in the church and not on the church!
Pastor’s also tend to feel very isolated and not reach out to others who are actually in the same place as they are dealing with the same issues and concerns!
We all have issues and concerns in our churches and our own personal lives. Being part of a TCB Board will provide you with "life changing" solutions to propel you forward!
All board members sign a "covenant" agreement so that you can know "what happens in the meeting stays in the meeting". This gives you a chance to truly share your deepest concerns in a sincere and confidential environment.
"The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.
The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do."
