How Can Others Offer Me Advice When They Know Nothing About My Church?

When you have operated the same way for a long time, it becomes easy to take things for granted.

This often makes it difficult to measure the effectiveness of your current procedures.
This is where TCB truly shines!

First, your board members will listen to your issue. Then they will begin to share their similar experiences while they offer suggestions.  You will quickly get insight on how their yesterday can apply to your tomorrow. We all share the same church challenges regardless of our length of ministry or our physical location.

One of the most surprising results from a TCB board is the solid, simple advice you will receive from others. The usual response is
“Why didn't I think of that?”

There are no cookie cutter answers, all churches have a different culture, worship style and leadership team, however, the common threads of ministry are always present in all churches and this is where the “golden nuggets” of information can be found and applied.
Your board will never consist of members who are from an unknown denomination or theological contexts that are not similar to yours.

After you present your issue and then hear of others , you will be surprised of how someone else's issue suddenly becomes an inspiration for your church.
The possibilities are endless!
God has given us two hands, one to receive with and the other to give with.
